Make Women Great Again!

Wondering why my face is in a blender and covered in clothespins? Let me explain! I recently participated in Oklahoma City’s 48 Hour Film Festival, which means my amazing all-female team devised, revised, filmed, edited, created props, found extras, and made a whole short happen in 48 hours. Within the film festival, we were given parameters for the film we would create. All teams had to include: a character named Ella/Ethan Rain — Regional Sales Manager, a clothespin, and the line of dialogue “well, that was a lie.” We also drew the genres sci-fi and slapstick, we could include one or both. We had an amazing time making this film, a sci-fi black mirror-esque short about a woman who falls into a mind controlling workout regimen, with commentary on the overwhelming standards we have for women. Watch our film by clicking here and entering MWGA! *Warning: there is partial nudity at the beginning of the film* #MWGA #teamscissorsisters

I want to be a Producer!

I am so excited to be performing in The Producers at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth this summer. Winning a record twelve Tony® Awards, The Producers skewers Broadway traditions and sets the standard for outrageous, in-your-face humor. Based on Mel Brooks’ classic cult comedy film and now a big Broadway musical, The Producers takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an “equal opportunity offender!” A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all “little old ladies”) out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! For ticket info, visit!

It's Possible!

The Prince is giving a ball… and I get to go! I am so thrilled to make my national tour debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella as an ensemble member u/s Madame and Marie. We launch our 2018-19 season with three performances in Milwaukee, WI, at the Miller High Life Theatre, November 10 and 11, 2018. Other venues on this year's tour include Ames, IA; Fort Worth, TX, San Jose, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; Philadelphia, PA; among others.  Join us in the forest and visit for ticket info and read the official press release here! And remember, “it’s possible!”

WALK on over to Fresh Paint Performance Lab!

Currently, I am working on WALK, an original musical written by Ben Harrell.  The show is directed by the fabulous Chelcy Harrell and music directed by the fearless Corie Melaugh.  Walk tells the story of a big city and the everyday people who are challenged, brought down, and hardened by it. It is told through seemingly unrelated vignettes demonstrating struggles as common as missing the bus or as existential as finding real connection in a place where people are involuntarily crammed shoulder to shoulder. Through these characters' conflicts we see how connected we truly are.  Walk will be performed November 16-18 at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.

Rocking it in OKC!

After wrapping up a four month contract at Clear Space Theatre Company, I am so excited to move on to the next adventure... Drum solo please... performing in Rock of Ages at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, directed by Ashley Wells!  I will be both performing in the ensemble and serving as the dance captain of the production.  The show runs from October 11- November 4.  More info can be found HERE!   Let's ROCK!

Fresh Paint Performance: Double Indemnity

Oklahoma City in the summer is such a blast!   I just recently performed in a Fresh Paint Performance Lab workshop composed by Ben Harrell.  Double Indemnity is a 1944 film noir directed and co-written by Billy Wilder. It is the story of insurance salesman, Walter Neff, and a provocative housewife, Phyllis Dietrichson, who wishes her husband were dead. The term "double indemnity" refers to a clause in certain life insurance policies that doubles the payout in rare cases when death is caused accidentally.  Ben did a fabulous job bringing this old film to new heights. This show was a pleasure to be in.  I can't wait to see Ben's work on the big stage someday!

What's up for summer 2017
